[Purchasing] I’m new to Backerkit! How does this all work?

Any money you pledged on Kickstarter during the campaign will be automatically credited to your pledge manager on Backerkit.

You will also receive a survey that confirms your shipping address, as well as the details of what you wanted to pledge for; this is where your final shipping charge will be calculated and billed. You will also be able to further upgrade your pledge there if you decide you want more add-ons, additional copies of the game, or anything like that.

Skyrise is already designed, tested, and illustrated; it will be manufactured, shipped, and we will begin delivering copies to backers in June/July of 2023.

I pledged a low amount, such as $1, and don't have access to the pledge manager. What can I do?

As mentioned throughout the campaign, to gain access to the pledge manager, backers must have pledged for at least the Skyrise Essentials Edition ($49 USD / $63 CAD) during the Skyrise campaign.

[Purchasing] How do I add the second discounted "Back With A Buddy" game?

Yes! We are expecting to have most of the currently available Roxley products available as add-ons in the PM.

[General] Can I get a Print & Play/STL files, or a digital version of Skyrise to try it out?

Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide digital or print and play options for this campaign.

[Product] Will the Collector's Edition box and insert accommodate the Wooden token add-ons?

Absolutely!

[Product] I want to sleeve my cards, what do I need? Is the insert compatible?

Yes! The Collector’s Edition insert is designed to accommodate card sleeves. Skyrise includes 30 bridge sized cards (2.25 inches by 3.5 inches or 57 x 89 millimeters).

[Localization] Will Skyrise be available in other languages?

Not during this campaign. We definitely want it to be in the future, and Roxley is working with partner publishers in many countries for localized versions of all of our games, but these will be confirmed in the future.

[Gameplay] Is there going to be a Solo/Automa or Coop mode?

There are no plans for this at this time.

[Product] Are the Collector's Edition boards removable for painting purposes?

No - they are glued in place for durability, so you may need an alternate solution such as painter’s tape.

(Email is definitely the quickest and best way to reach our team, although we do try to stay on top of Kickstarter DMs, social media, etc.)

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
